The price achieved of USD 1,625.00 (€ 1,252.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Wright Morris have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wright Morris in October 2011 with an auction result of USD 11,875.00 (€ 8,514.38).
