Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2011 Christies in New York held the auction The American Landscape, Black and White Photographs from The Collection of Bruce and Nancy Berman, which included the work Selected architectural studies, c. 1945 by Wright Morris. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,875.00 (€ 4,929.38). Other works by Wright Morris have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 11,875.00 (€ 8,514.38) in October 2011 for the work Wright Morris.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2011 führte Christies in New York die Auktion The American Landscape, Black and White Photographs from The Collection of Bruce and Nancy Berman durch, in der auch die Arbeit Selected architectural studies, c. 1945 von Wright Morris zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.875,00 (€ 4.929,38) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Wright Morris haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 8.514,38) im Oktober 2011 für die Arbeit Wright Morris beobachtet.
