In the The American Landscape, Black and White Photographs from The Collection of Bruce and Nancy Berman auction, the work Drawer with Silverware, Home Place, 1947 sold for USD 2,750.00 (€ 1,971.75) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Wright Morris have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wright Morris in October 2011 with an auction result of USD 11,875.00 (€ 8,514.38).
