A top price for Wright Morris - as previously expected
The work Wright Morris by Wright Morris was sold in the The American Landscape, Black and White Photographs from The Collection of Bruce and Nancy Berman auction at Christies in New York in October 2011. It changed hands for a price of USD 11,875.00 (€ 8,514.38) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Wright Morris is the most expensive artwork by Wright Morris that we have observed at auctions so far.
