Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ed's Drawer, 1947 by Wright Morris was auctioned at Christies in New York in February 2004. The price achieved of USD 956.00 (€ 768.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wright Morris achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wright Morris in October 2011 with an auction result of USD 11,875.00 (€ 8,514.38).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 956,00 (€ 768,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden.
