In the American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture auction, the work Landscape (Probably Near Millburn, New Jersey) changed hands for USD 10,625.00 (€ 7,660.42) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Worthington Whittredge achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Pine Cone Gatherers in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 360,500.00 (€ 340,801.66).
