This artwork by William Zorach achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in May 2018. In the American Art Online auction, the work Early Morning sold for USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,141.39) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Zorach achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Spirit of the Dance' in December 2004 with an auction result of USD 365,900.00 (€ 270,276.26).

In der Auktion American Art Online wurde die Arbeit Early Morning für USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.141,39) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William Zorach erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'Spirit of the Dance' im Dezember 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 365.900,00 (€ 270.276,26).
