Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work I Hope You Learned Your Lesson by William T. Wiley was sold in the Prints & Multiples auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in September last year. It achieved a price of USD 1,402.50 (€ 1,433.61), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William T. Wiley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ediface Complex, 1981 in June 2020 with an auction result of USD 25,075.00 (€ 22,326.60).

Die Arbeit I Hope You Learned Your Lesson von William T. Wiley wurde im September letzten Jahres in der Auktion Prints & Multiples bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.402,50 (€ 1.433,61) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William T. Wiley erzielen.
