In the Master Paintings & Sculpture Day Sale auction, the work A Wooded Landscape With A Waterfall And A Fisherman Walking Along A Path changed hands for USD 18,750.00 (€ 17,370.76) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Ashford achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A View Of The Bridge At Charleville Castle, Tullamore, Co. Offaly, A Figure On The Bridge And Other Figures With A Dog Near The Water'S Edge in December 2015 with an auction result of GBP 218,500.00 (€ 296,712.50).
