Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Willi Soukop could be acquired at Christies in London in May 2005 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century British Art auction, the work Figure In Flight changed hands for GBP 360.00 (€ 531.47) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Willi Soukop achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Boy in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,673.98).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Willi Soukop konnte im Mai 2005 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 20th Century British Art wechselte die Arbeit Figure In Flight für GBP 360,00 (€ 531,47) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Willi Soukop erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Boy im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.673,98).
