Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two Heads by Willi Soukop was sold in the Twentieth Century British Art auction at Christies in London in July 2003. It changed hands for a price of GBP 176.25 (€ 230.37) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 25.00 – 200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Willi Soukop achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Boy in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,673.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Two Heads von Willi Soukop wurde im Juli 2003 in der Auktion Twentieth Century British Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 176,25 (€ 230,37) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25,00 – 200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Willi Soukop erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Boy im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.673,98).
