In July 2006 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art including The Studio of Humphrey Jennings, which included the work Chick by Willi Soukop. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,320.00 (€ 1,932.33), 65% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Willi Soukop have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Boy in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,673.98).

Im Juli 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art including The Studio of Humphrey Jennings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Chick von Willi Soukop zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.320,00 (€ 1.932,33) und damit 65% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Willi Soukop auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Boy im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.673,98).
