Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work A sheperd near a stream in a sunlit landscape by Willem Roelofs for EUR 3,750.00. This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century & Modern Art at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Willem Roelofs achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Summer (Between Hilversum And Loosdrecht) in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 78,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A sheperd near a stream in a sunlit landscape von Willem Roelofs für EUR 3.750,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century & Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Willem Roelofs erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Summer (Between Hilversum And Loosdrecht) im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 78.250,00.
