Despite a disappointment, a good price for Willem Roelofs
In October 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Summer (Between Hilversum And Loosdrecht) by Willem Roelofs for EUR 78,250.00. This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Paintings at Sothebys in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 80,000.00 – 120,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Summer (Between Hilversum And Loosdrecht) is the most expensive artwork by Willem Roelofs that we have observed at auction so far.

Im Oktober 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Summer (Between Hilversum And Loosdrecht) von Willem Roelofs für EUR 78.250,00 erwerben.
