Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2017 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction The former Kamerbeek Collection, which included the work A ballet school in Nice by Willem Dooijewaard. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 5,250.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Willem Dooijewaard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woman Selling Fruits in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 4,360,000.00 (€ 426,795.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2017 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion The former Kamerbeek Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit A ballet school in Nice von Willem Dooijewaard zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 5.250,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Willem Dooijewaard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Woman Selling Fruits im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.360.000,00 (€ 426.795,26).
