Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Unloading the haycart by Willem Carel Nakken was sold in the Old Masters and 19th Century Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2010. The price achieved of EUR 12,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Willem Carel Nakken have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2005 the work Late summer: loading the hay-cart was auctioned for EUR 20,400.00.
