The work Whirlwind, 1968 by Wilhelmina Barns-Graham was auctioned at Bonhams in London in February 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 8,287.50 (€ 9,558.07), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wilhelmina Barns-Graham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Glacier (Bone) in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 106,250.00 (€ 125,364.55).

Die Arbeit Whirlwind, 1968 von Wilhelmina Barns-Graham kam im Februar 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 8.287,50 (€ 9.558,07) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wilhelmina Barns-Graham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Glacier (Bone) im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 106.250,00 (€ 125.364,55).
