This artwork by Wilhelmina Barns-Graham achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in November 2021. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Collage No. 24 sold for GBP 2,805.00 (€ 3,293.33) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wilhelmina Barns-Graham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Glacier (Bone) in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 106,250.00 (€ 125,364.55).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Wilhelmina Barns-Graham erzielte im November 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Collage No. 24 für GBP 2.805,00 (€ 3.293,33) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wilhelmina Barns-Graham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Glacier (Bone) im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 106.250,00 (€ 125.364,55).
