Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Unexisting book. by Wilhelm Sasnal was sold in the Prints & Multiples | ONLINE ONLY auction at VAN HAM in Cologne in October 2021. It changed hands for a price of EUR 581.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wilhelm Sasnal achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Airplanes in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 396,000.00 (€ 294,358.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Unexisting book. von Wilhelm Sasnal wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Prints & Multiples | ONLINE ONLY bei VAN HAM in Köln versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 581,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 400,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wilhelm Sasnal erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Airplanes im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 396.000,00 (€ 294.358,14).
