The result of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,250.71) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Whitney Bedford - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled Iceberg (Purple Floats), which sold at auction in September 2012 for USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,320.01).
