The work Electronic Element Series: No. 30 by Chen Wenbo was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2012. The auction ended at the price of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 14,873.17), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Wenbo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinesetest No.10 in October 2008 with an auction result of EUR 475,000.00.

Die Arbeit Electronic Element Series: No. 30 von Chen Wenbo kam im November 2012 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 14.873,17) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Wenbo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chinesetest No.10 im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 475.000,00.
