Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work First Day by Wei Dong was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019. It achieved a price of HKD 237,500.00 (€ 27,145.90), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Other works by Wei Dong have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 37,188.17) in May 2013 for the work Wanna Fly.

Die Arbeit First Day von Wei Dong kam im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 237.500,00 (€ 27.145,90) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Andere Arbeiten von Wei Dong haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 37.188,17) im Mai 2013 für die Arbeit Wanna Fly beobachtet.
