A top price for Wei Dong
The work Wanna Fly by Wei Dong was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2013. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 375,000.00 (€ 37,188.17), 50% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Wanna Fly the most expensive artwork by Wei Dong that we have observed at auctions so far.
