The work Yuki No Yanagi Ni Tsugumi No Zu (Thrush On Snowy Willow Branch) by Watanabe Seitei was sold in the Japanese and Korean Art auction at Christies in New York in March 2005. The »bidding war« ended at USD 5,040.00 (€ 3,886.19), 26% above the upper estimate. Other works by Watanabe Seitei have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 4,025.00 (€ 4,204.09) in March 2000 for the work The wife of Enya Takasada at her toilette.

Die Arbeit Yuki No Yanagi Ni Tsugumi No Zu (Thrush On Snowy Willow Branch) von Watanabe Seitei wurde im März 2005 in der Auktion Japanese and Korean Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 5.040,00 (€ 3.886,19) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
