In the Japanese and Korean Art auction, the work Kare Ashi To Oshidori (Mandarin Ducks And Drying Reeds) sold for USD 2,640.00 (€ 2,035.62) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Watanabe Seitei - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The wife of Enya Takasada at her toilette, which sold at auction in March 2000 for USD 4,025.00 (€ 4,204.09).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Watanabe Seitei erzielte im März 2005 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis.
