Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2019 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Sunset In Autumn Landscape by Wang Xuehao. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 35,000.00 (€ 4,000.45), 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Xuehao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Secluded Studio in the Cloudy Mountains in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 3,870,000.00 (€ 383,781.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sunset In Autumn Landscape von Wang Xuehao zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 35.000,00 (€ 4.000,45) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Xuehao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Secluded Studio in the Cloudy Mountains im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.870.000,00 (€ 383.781,95).
