Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape in Sunset by Wang Xuehao was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2017. The price achieved of USD 15,000.00 (€ 12,697.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Xuehao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Secluded Studio in the Cloudy Mountains in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 3,870,000.00 (€ 383,781.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape in Sunset von Wang Xuehao kam im September 2017 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 12.697,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Xuehao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Secluded Studio in the Cloudy Mountains im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.870.000,00 (€ 383.781,95).
