This artwork by Wang Xuehao achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2019. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy Including Property from the Chokaido Museum Collection auction, the work Bamboo And Plum Blossoms sold for HKD 106,250.00 (€ 12,160.28) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Xuehao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Secluded Studio in the Cloudy Mountains in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 3,870,000.00 (€ 383,781.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wang Xuehao erzielte im Mai 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy Including Property from the Chokaido Museum Collection wurde die Arbeit Bamboo And Plum Blossoms für HKD 106.250,00 (€ 12.160,28) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Xuehao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Secluded Studio in the Cloudy Mountains im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.870.000,00 (€ 383.781,95).
