Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Wang Xuehao was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II auction at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2017. The price achieved of HKD 25,960.00 (€ 3,064.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Xuehao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Secluded Studio in the Cloudy Mountains in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 3,870,000.00 (€ 383,781.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Wang Xuehao wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.960,00 (€ 3.064,21) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Xuehao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Secluded Studio in the Cloudy Mountains im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.870.000,00 (€ 383.781,95).
