Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Wang Xuehao could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in September 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy auction, the work Landscape After Wu Zhen changed hands for USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,915.51) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Xuehao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Secluded Studio in the Cloudy Mountains in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 3,870,000.00 (€ 383,781.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wang Xuehao konnte im September 2018 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy wechselte die Arbeit Landscape After Wu Zhen für USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.915,51) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Xuehao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Secluded Studio in the Cloudy Mountains im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.870.000,00 (€ 383.781,95).
