Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Wang Xuehao could be acquired at Bonhams in Los Angeles in June this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Fine Asian Works of Art auction, the work Landscape, 1895 changed hands for USD 2,560.00 (€ 2,344.32) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,500.00 – 5,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Xuehao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Secluded Studio in the Cloudy Mountains in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 3,870,000.00 (€ 383,781.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wang Xuehao konnte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Fine Asian Works of Art wechselte die Arbeit Landscape, 1895 für USD 2.560,00 (€ 2.344,32) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.500,00 – 5.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Xuehao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Secluded Studio in the Cloudy Mountains im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.870.000,00 (€ 383.781,95).
