The work Landscape In The Style Of Huang Gongwang by Wang Xuehao was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2016. The result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,347.57) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Xuehao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Secluded Studio in the Cloudy Mountains in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 3,870,000.00 (€ 383,781.95).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Landscape In The Style Of Huang Gongwang von Wang Xuehao kam im September 2016 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.347,57) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Xuehao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Secluded Studio in the Cloudy Mountains im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.870.000,00 (€ 383.781,95).
