The work Snow Prunus by Wang Shishen was worth HKD 350,000.00 (€ 36,460.69) to a buyer in May 2012. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Wang Shishen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flower Tree in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 1,840,000.00 (€ 180,115.43).

Die Arbeit Snow Prunus von Wang Shishen war einem Käufer im Mai 2012 HKD 350.000,00 (€ 36.460,69) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Shishen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flower Tree im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.840.000,00 (€ 180.115,43).
