Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pine Tree and Bamboo by Wang Shishen was auctioned at Christies in Paris in June this year. The price achieved of HKD 378,000.00 (€ 44,169.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wang Shishen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flower Tree in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 1,840,000.00 (€ 180,115.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pine Tree and Bamboo von Wang Shishen kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 378.000,00 (€ 44.169,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Shishen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flower Tree im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.840.000,00 (€ 180.115,43).
