The work US$50 by Wang Jin was auctioned at Christies in New York in August 2014. The auction ended at the price of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,281.37), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Jin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Dream Of China in April 2007 with an auction result of HKD 1,920,000.00 (€ 179,771.60).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit US$50 von Wang Jin kam im August 2014 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.281,37) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Jin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Dream Of China im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.920.000,00 (€ 179.771,60).
