Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dream Of China by Wang Jin was sold in the Moutarderie Nationale: The Gillion Crowet Collection auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019. The price achieved of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 18,573.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wang Jin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Dream Of China in April 2007 with an auction result of HKD 1,920,000.00 (€ 179,771.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dream Of China von Wang Jin wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Moutarderie Nationale: The Gillion Crowet Collection bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 18.573,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Jin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Dream Of China im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.920.000,00 (€ 179.771,60).
