Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Dream Of China by Wang Jin was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. The auction ended at the price of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 10,956.34), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Jin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Dream Of China in April 2007 with an auction result of HKD 1,920,000.00 (€ 179,771.60).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Dream Of China von Wang Jin kam im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 10.956,34) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Jin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Dream Of China im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.920.000,00 (€ 179.771,60).
