Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Wang Jin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2020. In the Contemporary Art | Hong Kong auction, the work Fighting The Flood: Red Flag Canel (Set Of Three) sold for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 16,191.24) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Jin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Dream Of China in April 2007 with an auction result of HKD 1,920,000.00 (€ 179,771.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wang Jin erzielte im April 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art | Hong Kong wurde die Arbeit Fighting The Flood: Red Flag Canel (Set Of Three) für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 16.191,24) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Jin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Dream Of China im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.920.000,00 (€ 179.771,60).
