The work Reunion by Wang Jie was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2011. It achieved a price of HKD 644,000.00 (€ 57,608.79), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 61%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Wang Jie; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot An Endless Day sold at auction in May 2012 with the realized price of HKD 620,000.00 (€ 64,587.51).

Die Arbeit Reunion von Wang Jie wurde im Mai 2011 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 644.000,00 (€ 57.608,79) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 61%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Wang Jie; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit An Endless Day im Mai 2012 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 620.000,00 (€ 64.587,51).
