Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2018 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Ni Zan’S Poem In Cursive Script by Wang Jie. The price achieved of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 6,756.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wang Jie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An Endless Day in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 620,000.00 (€ 64,587.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2018 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ni Zan’S Poem In Cursive Script von Wang Jie zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 6.756,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Jie auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit An Endless Day im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 620.000,00 (€ 64.587,51).
