A top price for Wang Jie
In May 2012 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work An Endless Day by Wang Jie. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 620,000.00 (€ 64,587.51), 55% above the upper estimate. This high result makes An Endless Day the most expensive artwork by Wang Jie that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2012 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit An Endless Day von Wang Jie zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 620.000,00 (€ 64.587,51) und damit 55% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht An Endless Day zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Wang Jie, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
