The work Connection by Wang Jianwei was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. It achieved a price of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 25,576.78), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Admittedly, works by Wang Jianwei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Blind in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 2,200,000.00 (€ 254,279.30).

Die Arbeit Connection von Wang Jianwei kam im April 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 25.576,78) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Jianwei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Blind im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.200.000,00 (€ 254.279,30).
