Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 21st Century Art Day Sale, which included the work Coffin Paint 100921 by Wang Guangle. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 1,000,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 1,008,000.00 (€ 120,819.97). Admittedly, works by Wang Guangle have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work TERRAZZO NO. 12 in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 4,860,000.00 (€ 592,223.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Coffin Paint 100921 von Wang Guangle zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 1.000.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 1.008.000,00 (€ 120.819,97) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Guangle auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit TERRAZZO NO. 12 im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.860.000,00 (€ 592.223,48).
