Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Terrazzo No. 9 by Wang Guangle was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in June 2021. The price achieved of HKD 1,512,000.00 (€ 164,242.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,000,000.00 – 2,000,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wang Guangle - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work TERRAZZO NO. 12, which sold at auction in November 2016 for HKD 4,860,000.00 (€ 592,223.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Terrazzo No. 9 von Wang Guangle kam im Juni 2021 bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.512.000,00 (€ 164.242,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 1.000.000,00 – 2.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Wang Guangle mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit TERRAZZO NO. 12 beobachtet, die im November 2016 für HKD 4.860.000,00 (€ 592.223,48) versteigert wurde.
