Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Wang Dongling was sold in the Contemporary Art Asia auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2007. The price achieved of USD 10,800.00 (€ 8,075.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Dongling achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Harmonious Opposition in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 875,000.00 (€ 98,581.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Wang Dongling wurde im März 2007 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.800,00 (€ 8.075,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Dongling erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Harmonious Opposition im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 875.000,00 (€ 98.581,85).
