Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Not Annoyed by Wang Dongling for HKD 75,600.00 (€ 8,563.28). This price was achieved in the auction Modern Art Online: From Le Pho to Sanyu at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Dongling achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Harmonious Opposition in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 875,000.00 (€ 98,581.85).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Not Annoyed von Wang Dongling für HKD 75.600,00 (€ 8.563,28) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern Art Online: From Le Pho to Sanyu bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Dongling erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Harmonious Opposition im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 875.000,00 (€ 98.581,85).
