Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Walter Niedermayr could be acquired at Christies in London in July 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Edition Gerd Hatje: Contemporary Photographs, Prints & Multiples auction, the work Shiraz, Iran 54, 2006/2011 changed hands for GBP 500.00 (€ 560.61) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Walter Niedermayr achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ghiacciaio Della Marmolada II - 1995 in October 2017 with an auction result of EUR 23,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Walter Niedermayr konnte im Juli 2018 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Edition Gerd Hatje: Contemporary Photographs, Prints & Multiples wechselte die Arbeit Shiraz, Iran 54, 2006/2011 für GBP 500,00 (€ 560,61) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Walter Niedermayr erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ghiacciaio Della Marmolada II - 1995 im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 23.400,00.
