It achieved a price of USD 27,500.00 (€ 23,662.02), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Walter De Maria achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Circle/Rectangle 7 (Large Rod Series) in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 577,000.00 (€ 392,837.69).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 23.662,02) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Walter De Maria erzielen.
