Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Vittorio Matteo Corcos achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in November 2015. In the Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo auction, the work Chiacchere in salotto sold for EUR 2,800.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vittorio Matteo Corcos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Alla fontana (Le due colombe) in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 687,500.00 (€ 590,280.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Vittorio Matteo Corcos erzielte im November 2015 bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo wurde die Arbeit Chiacchere in salotto für EUR 2.800,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vittorio Matteo Corcos erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Alla fontana (Le due colombe) im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 687.500,00 (€ 590.280,76).
