However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vincent Clare - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Primroses, apple blossom, and a wicker basket, on a mossy bank; and Plums and grapes on a mossy bank, which sold at auction in June 2000 for GBP 5,875.00 (€ 9,312.60).
